We’re excited to announce that Mark Vining, a Shoreline Sailing Club member, has generously offered to present his one-day Safe Boating Class to our club and the public at an exclusive discounted rate! Mark is CT certified to give course.

Course Details:

 Date & Time: 10:00 AM – 5:30/6:00 PM, May 15^th, 2025
 Location: Small cottage at Westbrook Elks next to pavilion
 Cost: For the course due at event

CASH, CHECK, VENMO

• $65 per person (regularly $95) plus fees if pay on line
• $55 per person for groups of 10+. plus fees if pay on line
• $50 per person for groups of 20+.  plus fees if pay on line
• PLUS $50 to the State of CT for the license

The course fee includes the textbook, all test materials, and the 2025 CT Boaters Guide.

Certification Process:

✅ At the end of the course, students will take the official exam.
✅ Mark Vining will submit all students' results to the State DEEP system the same day.
✅ That evening, students can download their official CT Boating Certificate (license). $

 Important: The State of Connecticut charges a one-time $50 fee (paid directly to the state) when downloading the certificate. This lifetime certification allows students to retrieve their license anytime.
